The Chintz of Gold is pattern reinterprets the traditional Indian chintz of the 18th century through a contemporary lens. Working with a gilded palette inspired from Gustav Klimt's artworks, the piece translates shimmering gilded surfaces to hand-drawn botanicals rendered in a style reminiscent of classic Jacobean textiles. Crafted for boutique wallpapers and heritage resorts, this pattern was Old Bloom's first finished piece, the beginning of blending archival and contemporary.
